Order through a really good website and pick up as requested. Benches in front of the restaurant to sit down while waiting and to warm a fire bowl. The food in sugar cane bowls that can be put in the organic waste. The food was very tasty and highly recommended ... especially the fish for which they are also known. Prices are ok and the service is very friendly.

Uncomplicated online order 2go in COVID time. Perfect carp e.g. Potato salad u. fine roast venison m. Blue curd + tiramisu / warm cherry roasted chocolate cake - homemade apple juice. No waiting ... everything perfect👍👍👍 - soon again 🤩

In the last few weeks we have ordered pepper carp to be picked up twice. Both times perfectly baked and the fish tasted great! The environmentally friendly, plastic-free packaging should also be mentioned if you don't bring something yourself! Any time!

Great! Best carp I've eaten, so good! It was juicy and crispy. It's worth coming here. But I think you should reserve in the evening. The apple fritters were very good too.

The food was good, but we had to be outside for half an hour before our reserved table finally became free. The friendly staff outside provided us with a drink and apologized. Then, finally after 30 minutes, we got the table and I felt like an unwanted guest. The service staff was very snappy and spoke to me in a tone that I do not otherwise know. Everything went very quickly, but I felt very well dealt with. A drink after the meal was also not asked. Since you don't eat cheap there, I expect something else.

This time I also opened the carp season at Gasthof Reck and I have to say very tasty !!!! Price performance so as seen in the pictures I had a pepper and carp fillet that tasted really great (brilliant pepper not too hot or too mild, really good) . Great food. The best carp I've ever eaten. Have been a customer for over 50 years. Quality has never deteriorated. I am now a pensioner and come from Weiden. Have already celebrated my own confirmation here.

Good food, very quick service, but little choice on the menu. Somehow I didn't find the tables cozy. Village location, beautifully situated at the pond, but not really cheap. Very suitable as a stopover for a bike tour.

Went on Sunday afternoon as nothing else was open. This is a great place for groups to enjoy a Sunday dinner. I am vegetarian and was very pleased to find a tasty veg dish, not always the case in this region!

Great location. It is wonderful to sit outside in the garden in the summertime. The food is very good. They serve the very delicious “Fränkische Bratwurst” made by the famous butcher from Möhrendorf. Nice to go here for a nice bike tour or to swim in the near Oberndorfer Weiher.

This restaurant has great atmosphere, service and best of all the food was outstanding. We had the peppered carp and the flavor almost brought a tear to my eye it was so good. I might go back to Germany just to get more of it! Even the potato salad was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely make a reservation if you plan to dine here and my recommendation is that you plan to dine here!

The owners of fish kitchen Reck have a century old tradition in serving food and they constantly do their best to keep their good name. This place successfully unites traditional Frankonian Cuisine and modern European cuisine. They offer a great variety of fishes as well as various types of meat and traditional sausages, coming from their own butcher shop. The staff is friendly and offers help with the choice. I would definitely recommend this place! My personal favorites are fried carp(season is from September to April), beef liver and frankonian sausages.

People come here especially for the fish. Obviously. And it is very good. It is not cheap but not expensive either. Reservation is a must, if you don't want to travel a rather long distance and wait outside.
